Video game developer Codemasters has released F1 Challenge for iOS devices, a title based on the popular league internationally sanctioned racing. The game features over 90 + racing events throughout specific times World Championship 2012 FIA Formula One optimized touch controls including swipe gestures to rotate and rise, and real-life drivers and official cars manufacturers like Ferrari and McLaren.
F1 Challenge The application has over 90 racing events and take you back to the FIA Formula One World Championship 2012. Players can become pilots of stars and participate in quick-fire challenges inspired by the events of the 2012 season.
Evidence of time to complete, running events, short challenges with 12 cars and a speed game with KERS boost slick formula. It consists of a wide range of ways, dueling a Time Trial, Grand Pix short and Career Events challenges with 12 cars on track lovely. Moreover, the challenge F1 comes with the world famous drivers such as Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, and a lot of statistics and facts about the sport.
This control system takes some getting used to. It is very easy to get off track due to oversteer or under-steer. The iPad, sharp turns can be especially difficult to achieve, requiring you to move your thumb away uncomfortably on the side of the screen.
Although F1 Challenge offers a good amount of action, the real race is far from exciting. Rejoicing is not an emotion you feel when you complete any of these races, and the lack of emotional impact of the application left me a little cold. Although I’m happy to win stars after a successful career or challenge time, my desire to move was based on my center set up scores. If you’re all about leader-boards and achievements, then F1 Challenge offers. Part of the appeal of racing is the pure rush of competition and the idea of pushing to the absolute limit, and unfortunately this application barely registers in the excitement meter.
The content is equally difficult to get your hands on. Once you have played a few opening missions for each team, consisting of time trials, duels and qualifying laps, which may be at a standstill. Winning the stars needed to unlock later levels becomes increasingly frustrating, with the top podium incredibly difficult to achieve.
F1 Challenge certainly has its flashes of emotion, and most of the fans of Formula 1 can enjoy the challenges in the short and simple, but is easy enough for most cases and does not keep the player’s attention for a long time. It’s a great first round of this game that I love the game simple and casual, but has to endure better times in the future. The 228MB download is optimized for the iPhone 5′s taller screen and requires an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running iOS 7 or later.
