Are you in possession of iPad or iPad 2? And you want to edit some of your photographs in a professional manner, then you are at a tight place. Even you do not have any interest or knowledge about photo editing even then you always want to get some spice to your photographs. Otherwise this app is for those who want to do something professional to their photos. If you have past experience on any of the photo editing app or software like Adobe Photoshop, then it is well and good. If not then Snapspeed by Nick can become your learning pad also.
Most of the digital photos want some editing and once you have iPad then it is one of the must have application in order to play with some of your photographs. You always want to apply some kind of filters or layers to the already taken or new photos. Apple App Store provides a lot of apps in this regard such as Instagram, 100 Camera in 1 and Photogene App for iPadwhich are mostly designed for iPad.
Mobile phones are kept as a photography platform and now in new concept Tablets act as photography as well as photo editing platforms. The Snapspeed is an excellent tool with which you can create a lot almost same as you can do on Desktop softwares. The only difference is of price, Snapspeed will only cost you under $5 on the other hand Desktop softwares are way too expensive. The best thing about this app is its control ability which lets you to take full control making effective use of touch screen of your iPad.
Well the question is that how this app Snapspeed works? There are 2 main parts of this application where the first part gives you some basic image adjustments while the second is loaded with some creative filters. A brief description of image adjustment is provision of 5 main tools to work with as under:
- Auto Correct
- Selective Adjust
- Tune Image
- Straighten and Rotate
There are further subsets of these tools from which you can perform desired tasks individually. Select each of them and then adjust as per your desires one by one. In short these tools are very easy to use and you will find no problem and nothing missing in them.
The second part of Snapspeed App for iPad provides you with 6 main types of styles.
These styles are just like presets for lightroom in which you can quickly apply a filter to your image and get some nice effects.
- Black & White
- Vintage Films
- Center Focus
- Organic Frames
Each of these 6 style has further subsets of many different types of filters. Like in vintage filter you have 9 different types of vintage styles to apply on your photograph. A texture to the image can also be applied by simply tapping the texture button. Right now this app does not provide full control over texture options rather it just applies the texture to the entire image which can be a small drawback.
Keeping all the above points in mind we can term it is the best overall photo filtering app for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. It is a universal app for iPhone, iPod as well as for iPad or iPad 2 but in my point of view much better is to use this app if you own a iPad for better view. Otherwise there is no harm in using it on iPhone / iPod Touch also.
