Temple Run: Brave Review Game for iPad, iPhone, iPod

There are several iOS games which have literally changed the pattern of true addictive game lovers. Angry Birds, Some Racing Games and Temple Run are top of the line which cause so much of addiction that I have noticed people forgetting about food, sleep and important tasks. You must have played the first version of Temple Run and remember that how much addiction causing capability this particular game has got. It was also declared as the second best application for the year 2011 after Jetpack Joyride. For those who do not have idea about the first version, they must read our review here. It was a simple endless game with a few monsters chasing you.

Once you start playing Temple Run: Brave, you will not find much of the difference in game play. In short it is also an endless runner game with some difference and new additions to cause even more addiction. I must warn you in advance that the game is highly addictive like previous Free version and you are going to waste a lot of your time but there is no way out. If you are a game lover then after reading this review you are definitely going to download this application on your device.

Something specific about the game is that it is based on Pixar movie Brave, and you are going to control the same movie’s protagonist Merida, who has to outrun a giant bear which is chasing her. Is that all, must be a question in your mind and answer is yes as far as the game play is concerned. There is no more story involved in the game and what else you can expect from endless runner game. Obviously there is some difference in graphical display of the game where instead of old daemons, some resemblance with the movie is provided in which a bear who is already injured with some of the swords and arrows on its body is chasing Merida. All you need to do is to run with same enthusiasm with a different view but same controls which includes, jumping, tilting for coins collection and making your way as far as possible.

Now the big new addition in the game is of archery section in which you have to tap the left or right side of the screen which results in firing of arrows towards targets and you are going to get more coins. For those who are tired of watching same old scenery in which there is a run going on in Temple with few characters and options but still have addiction for endless game must go for this option. There is only Merida who is strictly linked with the movie character so she will be the only player with whom you can manipulate. With the colorful background of this game, red head Merida provides a great contrast for viewers. Also remember that some of the visuals are much improved and can take your breath away for a moment by giving you a real time comic World touch.

Some of you might not like this game for the same reason as there is no genuine addition in the game. This can be called as update of previous version. For those who do not want to go for this game they may find archery section a useless thing and game can be well played without all this. There is nothing left to be mentioned and a fair idea has been given. The game comes with introductory price of $0.99 which includes 2500 coins bonus. Still it is the top most game on the Apple App Store and numerous users have rated it very high so you can take the risk if there is no other good option. It is a universal app for both iPhone and iPad with same price. There are some In App purchases of coins which are required for power ups during the game to increase your run distance.
